The five star hotel of the Select Hotels Collection group will be one of the prestigious locations where the Pink Night - the “New Year” of the Italian summer - will be celebrated. The mega party will take place along the 110 kilometers of the Emilia Romagna coast. All the resorts will be linked to one another by a series of concerts, cultural events and various types of attractions that will go on all night long. At midnight of July 1st, fireworks along the coast will be lit at the same time, whilst off the shores of Rimini “Costa Favolosa” – the largest Italian cruise ship – will appear in all its splendour as a tribute to Fellini’s Rex ship, depicted in the film “Amarcord”.
“Dream” will be the main theme of this 6th edition of La Notte Rosa, the summer New Year that will be celebrated along 110 kilometers of coast, from Friday July 1st until Sunday 3rd. From dawn to sunset, numerous cultural and musical events based on the concept of “dream” will take place. Bathing establishments, squares, theme parks, bars, restaurants and museums in every town will stay open all night long to let the public enjoy shows, concerts, theatre plays, art exhibitions, art happenings, oeno-gastronomic appointments and the fireworks that will lit the whole of the Adritic Coast, from Cattolica to Comacchio, on July 1st at midnight. Celebrations will carry on for the whole week-end during which all the tourists (nearly two millions were recorded last year) will have the opportunity to “dream” whilst setting aside all the stress of everyday routine. And, in terms of dreams, the Grand Hotel Rimini*****L, enchantment and wonder in the landscape of the Italian hôtellerie, can offer the best within the Pink Night celebrations, with its huge reception rooms, the elegant suites, the romantic terrace on the backdrop of the famous Liberty façade, the beautiful gardens, the exclusive service and musical entertainments.
On the evening of July 1st , in Fellini’s Square, right opposite the Grand Hotel Rimini*****L, Francesco De Gregori , the “Prince” of singer-songwriters, will perform some of his best songs. At midnight, when all the fireworks will be lit, “Costa Favolosa” the Costa Crociere main ship, will appear off the Grand Hotel Rimini’s beach, in all its splendour, with its 114.500 tons and a capacity of 3800 passengers. On Saturday July 2nd, guests at the Grand Hotel Rimini*****L will enjoy an exclusive dinner-dance on the terrace with Regal Buffet and the Amarcord Band, whilst the singer Terza Salgueiro will perform at the Corte degli Agostiniani and it will be possible to visit all the museums in the town centre. Finally, on Sunday July 3rd, in Fellini’s Square, the concert of Joan As Police Woman and guided tours on the footsteps of Fellini, with two exceptional narrators Patrizio Roversi e Susy Blady.
